There are only cause and effect. Whatever we do physically or mentally is the cause and whatever happens in our body and mind is the effect. Both cause and effect are not something, not someone, just Ever-new-impermanent Nature. Both cause and effect are not something, not someone, no I, no you, not mine, not yours, no living beings, no non-living beings, no male, no female, just Ever-new-impermanent Nature. We may be able to accept these theories or not. We maybe understand these theories or not. Accepting or not accepting and understanding or not understanding are not important. Knowing the Impermanent Nature of accepting or not accepting and understanding or not understanding is really important. To know the Impermanent Nature of the present moment of understanding and not understanding, we must be able to focus on the present moment of understanding or not understanding of the Impermanent Nature. If we are able to focus on the Impermanent Nature of the present knowing and understanding or not understanding, we should try to focus on the present action of mindfulness. Mindfulness on the same object is not enough. We should try to be mindful of more gentle and difficult objects. The present action of mindfulness is the most gentle and difficult object of mindfulness. Whether we are able to be mindful of this object or not, it is not important to be doing-only or not doing-only; experiencing-only or not experiencing-only which are important. Our intelligence has limits; they will be understanding and also they will be not understanding because of using limited intelligence. Knowing the Truth like this is more important than whether understanding or not understanding. Understanding by reading or listening is not enough. We should try to understand by our own experiences.
