“The real meditation is mental actions concerned with the mind, we need to be mindful all the time. We need to be mindful to ourselves in order to detach from the others. In sitting meditation, we need to be mindful whatever happens in our body or mind. Trying to do nothing except mindfulness at every present moment. The action of mindfulness at present moment is helpful to detach from present actions of ignorance. If we are not mindful to ourselves, we will be mindful to the other person or to something. We need to know about ourselves. To know about ourselves is more important than knowing about the others. We should try to find out the truth within ourselves. We need to be mindful ourselves whatever we are doing now and whatever happens in us are the object of mindfulness. The practice of mindfulness is complete if we are mindful, we need no one or nothing to rely on. If we see from the side of Original truth there are only cause and effect of ever new impermanent nature. Practising meditation is grateful to know the truth, to know the Original truth. I am teaching about the truth with the mindfulness of each of my verbal actions. So also while you are listening Dhamma talks, you should be mindful your action of present listening. Both actions of speaking and listening are the object to be mindful. In sitting meditation we should be mindful within ourselves; only the action of mindfulness should be emphasized. The object of mindfulness may change from time to time but the action of mindfulness should continue from one action after another. Whatever appears in our body and mind may appear soon, as soon as it appear it will disappear. Only appearing and disappearing process is permanent in our body and mind. Something or someone, I or you, mine or yours living beings and non – living beings, all these are existing in the mind we are using. We accept living beings and non – living beings in our mind; that’s why we know as living beings and non – living beings. In fact there is no living being and non – living being, just cause and effect of Ever New Impermanent Nature. We should try to see freely to know the truth of Ever New impermanent Nature. In our daily life we should be mindful our physical or verbal or mental actions. Each of action is the object to be mindful. Physical and verbal actions are easy to be mindful, mental action is difficult. We are using the mind all the time. Now we need to study our mind at every present moment. No I or nothing is forever, cause and effect or ever new impermanent nature is forever. We may want our life and our family and our belongings to be forever but this is impossible. Instead of try ourselves to be forever, we should try to know the impermanent nature which is forever. Be mindful at present moment, be mindful to be natural. In sitting position, we need nothing to emphasize just the present moment of mindfulness within ourselves. We should be mindful to ourselves not as a human being or living being but as cause and effect of impermanent Nature. If we are believing ourselves as a human being, we need to worry to be victim of corona virus. If we are accepting ourselves as the cause and effect of impermanent nature we are sure to be safe. Cause and effect of impermanent nature is powerful and permanent. Corona virus is impermanent, nothing or no one is impermanent. We should meditate in order to be the one with Ever New Impermanent Nature. Our life or our body are sure to be sick, old and dead. But cause and effect of Ever New impermanent Nature will never be old, sick and dead. Amongst living beings, human beings are stronger and poweful, but the non – living beings are more powerful than human beings. No one can conquer or destroy the non – living beings. No one can conquer the nature or natural disasters. Four Noble truths or cause and effect of impermanent nature is the strongest of all. No one or nothing can destroy Four Noble truths. We should try to change the mind from non – living beings and living beings to cause and effect of ever new impermanent nature. Mindfulness on something or someone is not complete. Mindfulness on cause and effect of Ever New Impermanent Nature is complete. In developed countries, many people are able to be mindful their families and belongings, they need to change their abilities from their family and belongings to cause and effect of Ever New Impermanent Nature. If we are mindful to ourselves, we will be able to detach ourselves from the others. If we are mindful of the appearing and disappearing process of whatever happens in our body and mind, we will be able to detach from ourselves as living beings. Appearing and disappearing process or ever new impermanent nature is Dhamma or the truth. If we really rely on Dhamma or the truth, Dhamma will fulfill whatever we need. Relying on someone or something is not safe and sure, relying on Dhamma is safe and sure.”
