Question: Dear Sayadaw! How could to not being attached in my present knowledge, present understanding?
“If the understanding happens at the present moment you must be able to be mindful on that understanding, until you can detach from that understanding. Without mindfulness, you may attach; with mindfulness you can detach but you need to practice again and again. Only when the power of mindfulness become stronger, the power of detachment will be stronger and you will be able to detach successfully from that present knowing. Besides, concern with your past experiences, whenever you remember about past experiences, you should try to be mindful again and again. You should try to be mindful the present knowing or the past experiences. In this way you can be skillful to be mindful or that the present knowing or the past experiences. And when the power of mindfulness becomes stronger, you may get success to detach from her past experiences.”
