If we are teaching or speaking, we need to be mindful of the action of teaching or speaking at every present moment. If we are listening to the Dhamma talk or speaking of someone, we need to be mindful of our mind or the action of listening at every present moment. We need to be mindful of the action of speaking or what is happening in the mind because of speaking at every present moment.
If we are listening, we should be mindful of the action of listening or whatever happens in the mind because of listening at every present moment. There are only cause and effect. We should emphasize cause and effect at the present moment. The action of speaking or listening at the present moment and the changing, feeling, experiencing of mind at the present moment because of speaking or listening are concerning are the present causes and effects. We need to be mindful of either one of the causes or effects at the present moment. The present changing action is the cause and the present changing mind is the effect. Each of our present-moment physical, verbal, mental action is changing; so also our present-moment mind which is caused by present action which is also changing. It is the same as the changing of time, place, person, condition at every present moment.
Several actions are done by force, deliberately and intentionally. Several actions are done naturally. Both are changing or impermanent. The result of doing by force or naturally are also changing or impermanent. You need to be mindful or pay attention to both cause and effect at every present moment. This is the action of meditation. I am careful to explain rightly, in the right way. You should be careful to understand rightly, in the right way.
